The first man-made lagoon powered by the CRYSTAL LAGOONS® technology in the state of Texas has opened in Balmoral, a residential community based in Humble, TX. Balmoral offers two expansive sandy beaches, a grotto, and a stunning two-acre turquoise lagoon, creating an extraordinary resident experience for the 2,200 members who call this place home.

Heidt Design led the team of consultants providing conceptual planning and programming for the lagoon’s surrounding activation zone, which necessitated a keen understanding of the client’s wishes and the user’s preferences. Our design team’s decision to include the Green Bolt System®, a dedicated trail system within the Balmoral community, proved integral to expanding the financial lift to the outer reaches of the residential neighborhoods within the community.
